Richard is an    experienced presenter and historian.

His professional experience includes:

  • Member of the Education Team at The Staffordshire Regiment Museum
  • Dudley Museum Intern Curator (working on the museum's WW1 Commemoration Exhibition)
  • Sandwell Museum Service Museum Assistant (Haden Hill House and Galton Valley Museums)
  • Working with organisations such as English Heritage, The National Trust, Landmark Trust and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

In addition Richard is a member of several leading Living History and re-enactment groups:

  • The Birmingham Pals (Great War)
  • The Bluejackets (Victorian / WW1 Royal Navy)
  • The 1879 Group (British Victorian Army)
  • Six of One
  • Staffordshire Living History
